This White paper was co-written by AI for Good and the Geneva Convention Bureau. The AI for Good Global Summit was established in 2017 by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations (UN) agency for digital technologies, and is organised every year in Geneva. Organised by ITU in partnership with over 50 UN partners and co-convened with the Government of Switzerland, the Summit has grown from 1’000 to 11’000 participants in 2025, with 800 speakers from 169 countries.
